Its been a crazy few weeks and wow I've made every bad choice when it comes to eating, exercise, etc... I know everyone can relate. We've all had those days, weeks, months where work or life just starts to get so busy we stop taking care of ourselves. I realized I am way off track and I need to get back on track. So this weekend I get back to that. My bad choices in food I would love to blame on the fact that it is Girl Scout cookie season, but I can't. My other realization? That this blog was keeping me honest and keeping me on track. Not that I have all that many followers, I don't necessarily write here for an audience, I do it for myself and if in the process it helps others than all the better.
Besides my day to day job, the one that pays the bills, I am in the process of refinancing my house. I am trying to finish up some projects around the house before the appraiser comes out. The nice thing is my kitchen is updated, I have all new windows, duct work, insulation, etc which can only help my home value. I am under contract for a new roof and solar. I cannot wait for that to be completed. (It just needs to stop raining long enough)
My exciting new adventure in addition to everything else that is going on I am most excited about! A week ago I became a Rodan + Fields Consultant. Not only it is a fantastic skincare company, but its an excellent opportunity to make a little extra money. With two kids in college and a third one not too far behind I wanted to find a way to make a little money doing something I could stand behind. R+F is definitely that business. I've only been using the product myself for a short period of time, but I love how my face feels already. I was and still am loyal to Chanel, but their skincare products were too expensive for me. I could not afford it. I love that my Chanel makeup compliments the skincare product of R+F. I also love that for someone like me who does not wear makeup very often that Rodan + Fields is allowing me to keep my face appearing young so I don't have to cover it up with concealer, etc. The one product I wish I could use that is remarkable is the lash boost. (I am allergic to nuts and there is almond extract as one of the ingredients so I personally cannot use it, but from the others who do use it -WOW!)
If you would like to learn more about the products or learn how you can become a consultant too, contact me. I would love to help you!
So I hope you follow me on my adventures this year. There will be quite a few!
